My client based in Birmingham is currently looking for a Performance and Systems Development Analyst to join their current team due to an increase of work.You will provide technical expertise in supporting, developing and maintaining the core systems to manage and implement business information and performance reporting requirements.
You must have the ability to support the progress and maintenance of MIS business reports, whilst developing a road map for MIS developments.
Responsibilities:
- Using technical expertise, extract data from key systems and create user friendly performance information reports.
- Advise colleagues on best practice in defining new and revised reports, rationalising and integrating reporting arrangements.
o Support and advise colleagues across the business to define and understanding MIS development needs and approaches.
o Interpret quantitative data to identify trends in performance to develop solutions and improvements.
Must Have:
- A high level knowledge of business intelligence and data-warehousing including data extraction, manipulation and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of Crystal Reports, querying using Transact SQL and VBScript.
- A high level of technical skill and experience in report writing using SQL and Crystal.
- Experience of using appropriate and varied methodologies to undertake additional bespoke analysis as required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft based systems, specifically visual basic programming in Excel or Access.
