Syspro Engineer/Syspro ERP Applications Support Consultant
Whitehall Resources requires a Syspro ERP Applications Support Consultant for a 6 month contract based in Buckinghamshire
Syspro ERP system is used by the client. It is a vanilla' application that they have/are making changes to, therefore a Syspro Engineer/Syspro ERP Applications Support Consultant is required to assist in those changes, etc.
Required Skills:
Extensive knowledge of the Syspro ERP system is required at the level of Engineer/Programmer/Developer or Administrator (Someone who has experience as a User will not have sufficient experience)
Good problem solving capability
Service oriented customer facing skills
Technical/Process documentation production skills
Detailed and meticulous, with a test oriented approach
Good interpersonal skills
Project Management skills desirable
Knowledge of other ERP Systems desirable
Experience in a Service Delivery Best Practice environment preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide support to IT projects, as required
Assist Syspro ERP Applications Team with the planning and execution of projects
Interface with IT Services Team, to ensure system integration, communication and consistent approaches maintained
Align IT Projects and the Apps team with the business processes
Assist ERP Applications team with reporting on outstanding support issues using the IT support toolset (Servicedesk)
Assist IT Services/Support Team when required
Assist with the production of Reports from the Syspro ERP system
Effectively this individual will be responsible for:
Bug fixes/Changes/Improvements
Support the Syspro ERP Applications Team on Projects and Support
Support the Special Projects Team
Interface with IT Services Teams on support issues
Provide backup cover to ERP Applications Team
The role will require occasional travel between UK sites (pool car available). The Syspro Engineer/Support consultant must be willing and able to travel with this role
NB: Candidates should be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline) & Disclosure Scotland Security Vetting.
