Description

Responsibilities
  • Establish and document operational processes for TruCode’s cloud platform
  • Maintain and improve TruCode’s build and deployment process
  • Develop (and where possible automate) standard procedures around common failure scenarios and disaster recovery
  • Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and report on application performance for cloud environments
  • Develop test automation framework in collaboration with other team members
  • Establish and document policies and procedures for securing hosted systems and monitoring access
  • Assist with our internal and external on-call rotation

  • What we offer
  • No TPS reports – As a small, privately-held company, we can decide what processes actually add value, and ignore the rest.
  • Make an impact – Another great aspect to working in a small company is that you're not just a cog in a machine. You're more like a string on a violin - you'll play a key role in making the company perform beautifully.
  • Work from home – Not just one day a week - every day. Ditch the commute and find out how much less stressed you are when you don't have to fight traffic at the start and end of your day.
  • No treadmill – Bored of doing the same thing over and over? When you work for a small company, there's always a new challenge. You get to wear many hats, refining old skills and learning new ones.
  • Great people – You'll be a key part of a small team of professionals who like to work with each other, and think work can and should be fun.

  • Limited to Hiring in the Following States:
California, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, New York, Virgina, Wisconsin

    Requirements:
  • Experience – 5+ years working with web-based software development and operations. Hands-on experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS. Knowledge of industry best practices and a past history managing high availability service environments. Experience with testing automation, deployment (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, or similar), and configuration management tools.
  • Skills – Web technologies including IIS, .NET, scripting, clustering, and high-availability. Microsoft C#, ASP.NET, and Powershell. Clear written/verbal communication skills. Distributed version control systems (GIT, Mercurial). Background in Windows system administration or working with Windows web servers.
  • Strong work ethic – Self-discipline to work from home
  • Positive work attitude – Life's too short to work with people who don't want to be there
  • Your Own Office – We're a "virtual" company, so everyone is a 100% telecommuter
