Description

A UI Designer / Java Developer is required by a global leading high precision machine manufacturing organisation on a long term contract basis. Their systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits, that power an array of electronic, communication and IT products. The successful candidate will have a chance to work in the Software Engineering and Development Department, with state-of-the-art technology and work alongside world-class engineers. This position will be based in The Netherlands. 



Job Responsibilities



- The main activity of a UI Designer/Java designer is to specify, design and develop new features within time and with a high quality level



- Communication will be an important aspect during product generation process



- You will have contact about this with stakeholders and other developers



- In this position you will use Industry Standards for design, UML activity diagrams etc



- As developer you should be able to provide Software designers information taking in to consideration functional and non-functional requirements



- You apply software engineering practices such as requirements engineering (user story definition), object oriented analysis and design, implementation in Java, testing, and integration



 

Job Requirement:



- Master degree in Computer science with additional skills in mathematics and statistics



- You must have at least 3 years working experience (and recent experience) as UI Designer / Java Developer.



- Due to the nature of this organisation, we only seek candidates with high tech manufacturing application development experience. Pure Web Development background would not be the ideal for this role.
