Core-Asset Consulting's client, a global investment management company, has an opening for an experienced Web Specialist to join their Edinburgh team. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of design processes and will possess the ability to turn a design concept into modern and accessible website using HTML5/CSS3.
Core skills:
- Proficient communication skills and the ability to work as part of an international team
- Ability to manipulate and tame Legacy CMS generated HTML code into clean modern accessible code
- Solid HTML5 knowledge
- Excellent CSS3 coding ability
- A good understanding of JavaScript - ability to create and modify JavaScript behavior on a page element is beneficial.
- Passion and interest in creating modern standards compliant websites
- Understanding of MVC and inheritance programming principles
- Must have excellent problem solving abilities - as part of a team and individually
Core requirements:
- CSS3 - Twitter Bootstrap, LESS, SAAS
- JavaScript, jQuery
- XML and XSLT abilities are beneficial but not required
- TeamSite experience would be useful
