Profile type Infrastructure Tester
Task description
Identify the test cases (with main focus on load tests, stress tests, endurance tests for capacity planning and performance bottleneck detection scenarios) in collaboration with information system representatives and application developers
Elaboration of test cases, construction of test scenarios and scripts, implementation, logging and analysis of test runs.
Perform vulnerability testing (black & White Box tests) of software components
Definition, execution and follow-up reporting on test plans
Presentation and publication of test results.
Provide support and recommendations on testing issues to application developers.
Qualifications
Post-secondary-school Training in IT institute (3-year program) certified by a bachelor degree or equivalent
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of testing technologies and tools
Knowledge of software development tools at the EC (JEE, .Net, Oracle, Coldfusion, PHP, web technologies, )
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
Testing tools
Ability to efficiently analyse and report on test results
Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability
Technical redaction skills in English and/or French
