We have an immediate requirement for a Senior AX Developer.
A Senior AX Developer is foremost a strong engineer, problem solver and team player, that works under the guidance of a Lead Developer to complete, and guide others in the completion of software development tasks. This is a 'hands-on' development role and the successful candidate will be expected to design, document, implement, test and support customisations within the Dynamics AX 2012 ecosystem.
Experience.
A Senior AX Developer has approximately 5 years' experience of developing customisations for Dynamics AX projects. Ideally this experience will have been obtained whilst working with Dynamics AX 2012 in a Retail environment comprising: Point of Sale (POS); eCommerce integration; finance; sales ledger; purchase ledger; product information management (PIM); stock management.

A Senior AX Developer is an individual that is able to contribute to a large number of technical areas of an implementation with limited guidance and input from the Lead Developer or other team members.
A Senior AX Developer is foremost a strong engineer, problem solver and team player, that can fit into and work across several projects simultaneously.
The role of a Senior AX Developer requires 'hands-on' Dynamics AX development experience and the ability to contribute to the different areas of a Dynamics AX project including, but not restricted to: X++, C#, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Experience of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SharePoint and Web (HTML5) development are desirable.
Experience of Dynamics AX 2012 is essential and any experience of Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is desirable.
A Senior AX Developer contributes to all areas of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, implementation, test and support. Experience of Visual Studio Online, Team Foundation Server, Azure, Agile and Scrum are desirable.
