Job Title: Client Manager
Location: London
Contract Rate: £285 a day
Contract Length: 6 months
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading transport companies.
On a day to day basis you will be expected to ensure that the Scope of the project is delivered by the delivery team and appropriately evolved through the project life cycle, agreeing changes to scope. Manage Benefits Realisation throughout the project life cycle. Manage Stakeholder Engagement with internal teams. You will co-ordinate the technical approvals process for each scheme and provide effective and timely technical advice to the project team to ensure that the design is efficient and that safe, reliable, sustainable and maintainable assets are delivered. Deliver reporting against client/sponsor responsibilities to the Senior Client Manager during delivery phase and ensure that the handover requirements for each scheme are clearly defined and delivered for a smooth transition into operation.
Experience and skills required for this role:-
- Team player with proven experience of working in a collaborative environment
- Able to manage the technical team to deliver solutions to technical queries
- Ability to review and guide the development of technical specifications of materials and components
- Ability to report concisely on progress against a baseline.
- Experience of applying value management and value engineering techniques.
- Experience in the application of project and programme management principle and practices.
- Experience working within Rail or Transportation would be beneficial
