DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a highly talented Selenium Automation Test Developer. As an Automation Developer you will work as part of a team responsible for participating in the development, testing and debugging applications.
As an Automation Developer you will work on the web application. Their primary tool for automating web UI and testing is Selenium. Using Selenium as a library you will build a system/tool. Specifically, you will write a test framework/harness that is going to test the web application. It will run as part of the continuous integration process. As developers contribute code into the repository, your system will filter their code for quality.
This team is looking to boost their Selenium expertise. Someone who brings a testing perspective and understanding of how to find problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on implementation and verification of systems/subsystems
- Responsible for providing support in development of testing activities
- Coding
- Designing
- Testing and/or Unit Testing
- Develop test automation harness and write scripts
- Debugging
- Reliability
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years experience writing Selenium automation scripts
- Strong experience with web applications
- Strong experience with and knowledge of Selenium
- Solid Java or Python coding skills with an emphasis on algorithms and data structures
- Experience testing and writing test cases
- Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks
EDUCATION:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree, or equivalent experience is required
