A key client of ours is looking to recruit for an experienced Web & Reporting Services Developer to support the development of reports and supporting SDLC efficiency improvements for the Program which is rolling out TFS 2013 across all of software teams for the company.
As they are based outside just outside of Oxford you will need your own form of transport.
Main Duties
Design, implement and test reports which include dashboards, charts, BI analysis and interactive reports as the program rolls out customised versions of the major TFS functional areas, i.e. bug management, requirements management, project management and creating company-wide Key Performance Indicators for tracking quality on every functional area.
Migrate data from existing systems into the global TFS deployment.
Assist with integration of the TFS software development processes.
Work closely with the program team to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Attend and contribute to regular team planning and monitoring activities (i.e. team uses Scrum practises).
Develop reports asp.net based web portal in support of the program along with appropriate automated testing.
Implement automated testing following agile practises.
Must have skills and experience:
Excellent English - written and oral communication skills
2+ years SQL Server data tools, SSRS/ SSAS / SSIS, T-SQL, Database management MS SQL 2012
2+ years of MDX & working with relational databases with strong SQL experience
2+ Years of Team Foundation Server ++Visual Studio 2010/12/13
2+ years of Front end web development using Javascript, JQuery & asp.net 4.5
Desirable:
Experience of SharePoint development
Microsoft Test Manager
Trained Scrum master
Prior experience:
Experience through hands on application of agile practises.
Scrum training.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT related field or equivalent work experience.
