Glocomms are currently looking for an Implementation Engineer to join a leading Telecommunication Provider on their Project situated in Dublin, Ireland. This is an initial 6 months contract-based Role with extensions certain to follow. My Client is looking for experienced Implementation Engineer with experience in both design and infrastructure that has at least 2/3 years experience in the Telecommunication industry.Role Purpose
The Implementation Engineer will be supporting Cloud Pre-sales teams and will play a major role in designing and building infrastructure solutions that utilise Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The project will involve migrating customers from traditional infrastructure to cloud environments and therefore the ideal candidate should have broad hands-on technical skills with design and implementation skills around:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Enterprise (Server , Active Directory, M-Exchange and Microsoft SQL)
- XenApps, VDI
- Coding, Scripting or application development experience (Puppet, Chef, Cloud formation)
Key Requirements:
- Design, build, test and document proof of concept
- Design and delivery of effective migration and implementation strategies
- 2/3 years experience in the telecommunication industry
