QA Tester - Oracle Financial Services Analytics Applications/OFSAA

On behalf of my client who is a Global System Integrator with a t/o in excess of $6bn and are present in over 31 countries, GIOS Technology are supporting them at a local level for a QA Tester - Oracle Financial Services Analytics Applications/OFSAA.

Role and Responsibilities:

The QA tester is responsible for the execution of one or more different testphases (ST, SiT, Regression test cases) of the data migration of Oracle OFSAA 7.3.5 from AIX to the Exa platform

Main responsibilities are

Writing test cases for the specific testphase

Execution of (manual) tests for one or more of the three test phases

Report progress into the test coordinator

Automate the test cases once the migration from the AIX platform to the Exa platform is completed

Experience Required:

The OFSAA tester has in-depth knowledge in the areas of:

General knowledge of and experience with OFSAA 7.3.5

Functional knowledge of LRM module of OFSAA 7.3.5

Experience with different testing techniques, like TMAP

Project management experience, preferably certified in Prince II

Experience in Software testing using automated tools like QC, along with bug tracking and defect tracking experience

Extensive Experience in PL/SQL

Good knowledge of OFSAA tables and data migration activities

Experience with continuous integration or continuous delivery for build, release and deploy cycles experience in testing using Oracle stack such as Oracle WebLogic app server, ESB, SOA and BPM

Experience in non-functional testing such as performance, scalability, security etc.
