Description
You will provide expertise for automotive embedded consulting projects across a variety of vehicle domains (e.g. infotainment systems, driver assistance, body electronics, etc.), focusing on a customer-centered view of the problem and providing the most fast, effective and viable solution. You will also work with Senior Consultants on projects to fulfill specific customer requirements.This role will be customer-facing, and willingness to travel is a pre-requisite.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Development of trainings on embedded systems topics (AUTOSAR, ISO26262, Embedded Architectures, etc)
Delivery of trainings at customer locations as well as at ETAS premises
Support of consulting projects on capturing customer requirements, performing the solution design and delivering reports as result
Contribution on big consulting projects for the area of expertise in coordination with other consultants and senior consultants, including teams in other regions
Development of prototype software, proof of concept for the identified solution as part of consulting projects
Complete management and execution of small (one-man) consulting projects, supporting all the required project stages, including the full responsibility for delivering on time, on quality and on budget
Requirements:
Degree educated in an Engineering discipline, with a 2.1 or higher (A PhD in Engineering, would be desirable)
2-3 years experience in embedded software development, engineering, consultancy or automotive software
Strong C programming skills
Excellent mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
Flexible attitude and the ability to work in a team or individually as required
Experience of AUTOSAR, ISO26262 and software development process standards such as CMMI and A-SPICE
Must be willing to travel to support the needs of the UK and overseas business units
Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
Must have strong presentation and communication skills and feel comfortable in front of customers.
