Position Description:
The Systems Engineer II will maintain and support web services and broadcast architectures with specific attention to availability, performance, capacity planning, and implementation.
This position will assist and sometimes lead in the development and maintaining of operational control and management systems to support operations, including: alarms, alerts, documentation and triage; infrastructure, content, change control, and load management. The Systems Engineer II will support daily operations of all systems used to deliver content, which may include web, video, and application Servers. This position will be responsible for support the entire lifespan of systems from installation to retirement, and will include maintaining the OS and the applications running on the system.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in systems administration

Strong Linux and Windows background required

Knowledge of support applications in a business environment.

Experience with production support level applications (ticketing systems, change control, quality control, etc...)
Experience with StorNext file systems for tape management is a strong plus
