SQL Server Developer - Contract Position
The Role
An opportunity has arisen in our IT Department for a MS SQL Server developer. This role will be reporting to the Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in development of regulatory reporting system.
- Analysis of requirements from business and technical partners.
- Analysis of application queries and issues.
- Support of User Acceptance Testing.
Technical skills
- 3-5 years in software development in the financial/insurance or related industry.
- General problem solving mentality. The ability to collaborate with different teams on solutions for a variety of different business, code & data related problems.
- Excellent T-SQL query development skills will be required.
- SSRS/SSIS
- Exposure to Automated acceptance testing (eg Fitnesse) would be an advantage.
- Working under Agile/Scrum methodology would be an advantage.
