Modelling Analyst - Bristol - Upto 40K + BenefitsMy client's Customer Insight Team is looking for a Modelling Analyst. Reporting to the Modelling Manager your role will be to drive profit through the development and implementation of propensity models, customer analysis and contact strategy improvements, whilst ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulatory acts and codes.
You will be part of a talented team delivering the modelling plan for marketing campaigns to drive profitability and investigate new modelling techniques to make recommendations and maximise return on investment.
About you
You'll need you to have some modelling analysis experience and you should have used modelling tools such as SPSS and R or similar. Customer analysis experience and an understanding of customer data are also essential. Good general analytical skills are also a requirement.
In addition you to have experience of relational databases, and ideally exposure to logistic regression, multinomial regression, OLS regression, and preferable Neural Networks.
Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills are really important and we'll need you to be results orientated.
They're looking for a creative thinker who has a curious mind, you'll need to be willing to immerse yourself in new statistical projects and take ownership of deliverables.
A relevant qualification in either Marketing, Economics, Operational Research, Mathematics or Statistics is desirable and although financial services experience isn't essential it would be an advantage.
