Control and Instrumentation Engineer needed to undertake SIL2 PLC Coding.I'm looking for the following experience for a role to be involved with multiple projects, the first starting in Swindon for 4 weeks then in South Wales across multiple sites.
The total contract length for this role is 3 months however this is with a view to an extension.
Preferably the ideal candidate will have knowledge of MOORES/Siemens APACS.
C&I Engineer required to carry out SIL2 PLC Coding
We are looking for a C&I engineer to work with a team of engineers in Swindon to assist programming SIL2 safety functions in a Rockwell GuardLogix PLC using RSLogix5000 version 20.1.
The successful engineer shall be capable of taking a detailed design document provided by the client and translate that in to code which can be demonstrated to be SIL2 compliant.
The detailed design of the safety functions will be carried out by the client.
You should be able to provide evidence of having detailed understanding of Rockwell ControlLogix PLCS and the RSLogix5000 programming tools and having satisfactorily coded SIL 2 safety functions in previous employment.
