Web Server Specialist - 6 Months Contract - SurreyWindows // IIS // Cisco // F5 Load Balancers // SQL // VMware // ITIL
My client based in Surrey (Easy commutable from parts of London, Sussex, Hampshire & Kent etc.) currently have an immediate requirement for the following contractor to join the team:
Job title: Web Server & Core Application Specialist, EMEA DC Team Experience in the following technologies are essential:
*IIS (7, 7.5 & 8)
*Cisco ACE (No firewall exposure)
*Other hardware load balancing solutions incl. F5
*Windows Server (2008 & above)
*ITIL (If not certified then the candidate would have at least worked in an ITIL environment previously)
Experience in the following is strongly preferably, however not essential:
*SQL (2008 & above)
*VMware ESXi
*Powershell
As a web server specialist, your daily duties would typically comprise of:
*Creating & Supporting web servers
*Certificate Management
*Windows Management
*Project related work (A current project they are doing is updating Cisco Core Network)
*Providing 2nd/3rd line technical support
*Providing statistical reporting & analysis for KPI's
*Review system capacity and performance data to jeep management informed above current usage and future growth
*ETC.
