Description

Mission
In the context of the development of IT Applications, you act as a functional analyst within the IT department. You'll integrate the back-end development team working on common assets. Development happens according to an agile methodology.
Therefore you ensure the following tasks:
- With the input of the business analysis, you initiate conversations with the clients and you collect the functional needs of the application that needs to be developed.
- You transcribe the needs in the form of user stories, screen prototypes and acceptance criteria.
- You validate the functional analysis with the clients, the business analyst, the tester and the development team.
- You support the IT architect in the development of the technical analysis.
- You work in collaboration with the tester(s) for the realization of the test plan.
- You support the development team during the development of the application.
Profile
- You have a Master degree (or equal through experience) and experience in a similar position (Functional Analyst, Business Analyst).
- Ideally, you have a relevant experience in development (2-3 years)
- You are a persuasive communicator, but with strong active listening skills.
- You easily make contact with people at various levels.
- You can fluently express yourself in English, Dutch and/or French, both orally and written.
- You have very good analytical competences.
- You're able to get a helicopter view and can dig into details when necessary.
- You work in a structured way and you are well organized.
- You are a team player, you are interested in the clients' needs and eager to provide good solutions.
- You have a good knowledge of UML and have experience with a modeling case tool.
- Experience with agile development is an advantage.
