WordPress Developer for ongoing work

Description

I'm looking for a WordPress developer, with an eye for design. I'm a freelance developer but I'm forming a WordPress Design and Development agency. I have plenty of work coming in at the moment and I'm currently turning it away.

Initially you would be subcontracted on a job by job basis, but as and when appropriate this will likely turn into a longer term contract. To begin with I would like someone to take on about 10 hours work a week while things get moving and we learn to work together. This may fluctuate slightly but I anticipate it increasing fairly quickly. Hourly rate is negotiable.

Experience Required:

WordPress

HTML

CSS ( Preferably SCSS)

PHP within a WordPress context

Basic jQuery preferred but not essential.

Custom post types and custom taxonomies.

Template editing

Working with child themes

An understanding of WordPress Template Hierarchy

Theme customisation

Developing from .psd/.ai/.eps files

An understanding of basic responsive design principles.

Experience with the following plugins preferred.

Woocommerce

Advanced Custom Fields

Revolution Slider

Yoast SEO

W3 Cache
