They are looking to a senior UI Developer to their R+D team. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate developers who want to work with the latest tools and technologies in the market A key element of this lab is the development of an Open Innovations Lab which will consist of a full next generation digital network, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/AaaS/NFV/SDN capability, with sophisticated API's and data analytics tools.
The open Innovation Lab will be used to develop, test and showcase business models (via working prototypes) for a wide range of new digital services.
The open innovation lab is implementing prototype solutions where UI design and development will be a key part of the prototypes, as it will be used directly with end customers of the prototypes.
Responsibilities:
* Design and build front end interfaces across multiple platforms * Keep the front-end lean and fast
* Write high quality, well tested code
* Research new front-end technologies and help drive innovation * Build, polish, and ship elegant interfaces that deliver amazing customer experiences
* Architect and build robust JavaScript components and applications
* Be an HTML and CSS pro who can build UI quickly and with pixel perfection
* Design essential graphics for innovation prototype applications
Experience & Qualifications:
* 8+ years building browser-based rich user interface applications * Expert Javascript, HTML, CSS, Jquery, Angular JS
* Responsive design specifically targeting mobile devices for Android and iOS
* Able to work with JSON data sets and integrate with external APIs(i.e. Google Maps)
* Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions for modern browsers
* Ability to translate a high-level open-ended requirement into a working prototype
* Experience building and tuning APIs
