The position is for a Test/Automation Architect to support testing of OSS/BSS applications for one of our marquee Telecom clients. The Test/Automation Architect is a technical role that will develop, recommend and maintain improvements to the existing automation test procedures across multiple distributed test teams to support fast-paced agile development.
Central to the test strategy is development of a test automation strategy designed to maximize automation regression coverage across multiple product backlogs and incorporation of automation activities in scrum-wise development. The automation framework will utilize Selenium/QTP and must be maintainable, reusable, and efficient to drive predictable delivery of quality releases.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for working directly with the senior technical architects and product owners to understand the technical and business vision and define the optimal automated test strategy for upcoming sprints across multiple multi-shore distributed Scrum teams.
The individual must be skilled in relationship management, mentoring, collaboration, and team work.
Skills
Experience in Large-scale maintainable automation
Define, recommend, implement and maintain test automation framework, including procedures for automation strategy, backlog automation and scrum-wise test selection and prioritization
Develop and implement automation standards
Extensive experience in designing automation frameworks and implementing it using tools like QTP, Selenium, Silk test etc, across different platforms like web, Legacy (ClearBasic, Delphi etc), ERPs like Siebel CRM, Oracle EBS.
Should have had the experience of doing automation consulting in large engagements involving tool feasibility and end to end automation framework designing for organizations having a large application landscape (more than 8 integrated applications)
Must have Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills; be fluent in spoken and written Dutch
Desirable:
Experience in Telecom domain on OSS/BSS applications
Worked on agile scrum framework
