We are looking for a part time coder (10-20 hours a week) to help us on site with issues and also for adding in petty things like creating custom small codes for any functions required, and working on bigger projects like building screeners on the side.The job requires a WordPress expert with perfection in STFP, PHP, CSS/HTML, Java etc. codes that are required in coding plugins and features for WordPress. We need to clean our website with extra codes to keep it going smooth without heavy load. So first thing would be to learn all the codes and plugins that the site currently runs with and create a plan to lessen the load that any code or plugin is creating without breaking any function.
The site runs NGINX cache, so you must have better understanding about cache systems and how they work.
Although start date is ASAP we will make sure its a good fit for both parties before assigning the project.
NOTE: We do have a FTP access (That we will provide to you) so you must have good knowledge of SFTP or FTP file system to move files. You will work closely with our CTO, who will guide you about the work required. You need to know STFP -if you do not please do not bid
NOTE this is a high traffic WordPress site we receive millions of views a month so we need some PRO with experience on high traffic sites.

NOTE we can only work with a team if we can communicate DIRECTLY with the coder – it takes too long to have an intermediary and it will not work out if we cannot communicate directly with the coder.
We do not have a large budget but can promise this project and steady work going forward.

WE ONLY WANT SOMEONE who plans to work with us on a part time basis for the foreseeable future. Due to the nature of the job and timings – We prefer people in EST, CST, and MST time zones although PST is fine and Greenwich and parts of West Europe would also probably work
