The Windows System Engineers responsibility domains are:Life cycle management
$2022; Core Windows infrastructure components (staging, OS, …) for servers and workstations
$2022; Drive Life cycle management of Windows infrastructure and design next generation of Windows platforms
$2022; Selection, validation and integration of hardware components
$2022; Validation of new hardware standards on Windows platforms
$2022; Validation of new peripherals (printers, scanners, …) and associated drivers
$2022; Provide clear documentation to the operational teams (e.g. Bios configuration)
$2022; Give advice on possible improvements of the system infrastructure
$2022; Write technical documentation to support the design
$2022; Provide consultancy on projects
$2022; Deliver operational handbooks, disaster recovery handbooks
Tooling
$2022; Design and implement the Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop infrastructure
$2022; Design and implement the SCCM infrastructure
$2022; Selection, validation and integration of hardware components
$2022; Build a new infrastructure to host virtual workstations
$2022; Manage Remote Desktop Services
$2022; Integration of this infrastructure in the remote access solution
$2022; Setup of monitoring and measurement of Microsoft infrastructure
3rd Level Support
$2022; Ensure 3rd level support (advanced troubleshooting)
2nd Level Support
$2022; Acting as Second Line Support for the Wintel Workstation and Server infrastructure
$2022; Provide feedback to the 3rd line engineering teams concerning infrastructure weakness and collaborate in finding possible improvements.
Required level of education: Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience with at least 3-5 years' experience in a similar function in System Engineering on Wintel systems
Mandatory Business skills: Experience in broader System Engineering technologies in order to have a good background to interact with other stakeholders (domain responsible or team members), ITIL minded, able to deliver high level technical documentation and follow the Customer processes for projects, incident and change management, quick self-starter, pro-active attitude, good communication and influencing skills, good analytical and synthesis skills, standalone working, meets commitment, ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment, customer-oriented, team player, apply risk awareness, experience in large environments, stress resistant
Expected Business skills: Able to understand bank related business processes and assess impacts on business, able to understand low level technical documentation
