FIX Trading Support Specialist - 6 Months Contract - London CityMy client, a financial associated MSP are currently looking for a FIX Trading Support Specialist to join the team on an immediate starting 6 months contract, providing 1st - 3rd line technical support. Essential skills with this role include:
- 2 + Years FIX protocol experience (Primarily 4.2, ability to understand raw without aid of Gui)
- Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux (RedHat ES Preferable)
- TCP Networking/Routing and ability to debug issues with the aid of tools such as tcpdump
- Scripting (Perl, Bash)
Responsibilities with this role will include:
-1st, 2nd & 3rd line support for low latency trading platforms
-As part of a team to help architect the growth of clients high availability, low-latency trading platforms and exchange connectivity network across multiple global regions
-Client, Exchange & ISV relationship management
-Full ownership of issues and projects
-Co-ordinate and carry out systems and user testing, including preparation of test plans where necessary (UNIX/Linix)
-Keep abreast of regulatory and exchange changes that affect Fixnetix environment
-Complying with Fixnetix internal processes
