Client Engagement Manager required to work for a multinational pharmaceutical company, based in Middlesex.

My client has invested in a new digital delivery model to accelerate its use of digital media both as an integrated part of the media mix and as a way of delivering new services to consumers, patients, providers and payers. The organization has established a new division that is accountable for delivering world class digital capabilities to enable my client's business units to leverage digital innovation to better engage, acquire and retain customers.

This new division provides the organization with a centralized suite of offerings, comprising digital expert resources, a common digital technology platform and core processes. The service supports digital delivery in over 50 markets and categories.

This role is accountable for partnering with the one of these categories and markets to drive the adoption of the new digital delivery model and ensuring that there are two-way communications, processes are Embedded and clearly understood, manage escalation points, and ensure projects and support are delivered successfully. A successful candidate will be both business and marketing oriented and is responsible for managing relationships with the agencies and brand teams.

As a key client relationship manager, you will serve as a point of contact to the brand teams and agencies on tactical and strategic aspects of their digital marketing projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account management experience at a digital or traditional agency
  • CPG and/or Pharma marketing experience
  • Relationship management experience
  • Understanding of digital and technologies and ability to manage a portfolio of digital project and concurrent digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience in project management including work planning and time management: ability to create/maintain work plans, monitor actual, and address cost/schedule variances.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members
  • Risk/issue management: ability to identify, analyze, track, manage and resolve risks and issues that impact project goals and objectives.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent ability to manage relationships and resolve challenging issues
  • Accountable for managing process improvement initiatives
  • An understanding of CPG or Pharmaceutical marketing principles
  • An understanding of digital marketing technologies including web analytics, content management, social media, mobile web enablement, email, and paid and organic SEO.
  • Proactive communicator with good listening skills
