Description
* SAP EDI Consultant - Functional/Technical - Amsterdam area, The Netherlands.
On behalf of our customer, the end client, located in the Amsterdam area, Netherlands, we are currently looking for an EDI Consultant.
As a technical and functional EDI Consultant, you will be responsible to manage several 'mini-projects'.
The work will entitle:
- Understanding requirements from customers/suppliers/business personnel
- Conducting the technical IDOC mapping for the EDI message in SAP (occasionally some XML mappings)
- Testing the messages and flows in SAP
- Co-ordinating with internal person who works with prioritising work with the EDI 3rd party provider (Seeburger)
- Providing all technical information from partner to ensure EDI connection can be set-up
- Liaising with external partners/customers/suppliers in order to ensure testing is done in a timely manner
- Communicating to the business and internal EDI team about progress and priorities
The candidate needs to have:-
- Good technical mapping (IDOC) skills in SAP
- Good functional knowledge in SAP to be able to do testing of flows
- Excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with all personnel involved in the process
This is a 3 months contract opportunity that can start at the very latest at the end of July. There is definitely an opportunity to extend.
For this position we require someone who speaks English, if you also speak Dutch that is a big bonus.
