My client is a leading telecoms provider in Europe and they are now looking for a Senior BTS Antenna Designer for a position in Gothenburg.

We are currently looking for a motivated technical leader with a very strong background in telecom antenna design from concept, simulation, development, verification and trouble-shooting for mass production. The candidate is expected to have a good mix of theoretical and practical design skills; He/She should both lead and participate in the design and development of prototype RF/antenna systems. Initially he/she should be able to work on the cutting-edge technology in multiple areas, including antenna arrays for large scale MIMO applications, super wideband antennas for base stations. These cutting-edge technologies can be either carried out by himself/herself or introducing collaboration with professors of world class universities.
Experience required:
*5+ years experience in an innovative research environment after the last degree is obtained.
*Knowledge in beamforming and large scale MIMO array antenna system implementation.
*Familiarity with Ansoft HFSS.
*Experiences in design of several different sorts of antennas, such as antennas for base station, radar, handset and satellite, etc .
*Hands-on experience of measuring and characterising antenna performance, both in field and in anechoic chambers is desirable.
*Can work on site in the Gothenburg office.
*Good communication skills and fluent in English.
