I currently URGENTLY require a Software Team Leader for a position in Somerset. You will be joining a well-established company who have been operating for over 25 years. They design, manufacture and sell their products worldwide. They are recognised as genuine world leaders and with their multi-disciplined teams have a vast range of knowledge in various industries.
The Role:
- You will be expected to have experience in full lifecycle software engineering.
- You will be leading a small team of software engineers as well as reporting into the Technical Manager.
- You will be involved in the development of new products and also the software build management.
- Initially you will be involved in the core product software release and development of a customer specific variant.
- You will also be involved in the maintenance and enhancement of existing products.
Key Skills:
- Software development experience: Embedded, Real-time processes, database, GUI
- Various programming languages: C, Java, Python, PHP, SQL, BASH, HTML.
- PC, 32-bit microcontroller, ARM
- Experience in a Linux development environment
- TCP, Serial comms.
