Description:We are looking for a highly skilled Web Commerce architect to analyze and design the Web Commerce architecture, making sure it's aligned and evolves with company's overall digital platform strategy. As a core part of the responsibilities, this role will design the web commerce platform and integrate it with Back End system via Middleware solution. The role will have influence and oversight on web commerce channel and Back End code to ensure consistency of product and integration best practices. Furthermore, the role will have responsibilities to foster innovation, develop proof of concepts, and fast fail web commerce research and concepts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject-matter-expert to provide design on web commerce platform, global deployment foot print, and various market localization strategy.
- Provide technical guidance, design and develop innovation POCs and fast fail ideas. With various technologies, potentially beyond web commerce.
- Work with other digital product team to ensure best integration of web commerce product within digital product ecosystem.
- Partner Back End platform development teams (eCommerce Platform, DEP, DNA, etc.) and Middleware solution team to drive alignment on software development, patterns, code compliance, etc.
- Understand the value and interconnected nature of the various components necessary to deliver individual capabilities in web commerce platform and customer-facing channels - across all impacted products
- Create and maintain documentation pertaining to product features, activity flows, integration flows, data contracts, etc.
- This position works more with web services development and Middleware
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in a software development and integration of complex systems
- Experience in developing, implementing, or integrating Back End systems/APIs and web/mobile applications
- Strong eComm coding and code review experience
- Strong technical, development focused background with experience integrating applications and systems developed by multiple parties
- Need someone that does not require a lot of supervision, a go getter that can hit the ground running.
- Quick learner and open to learn new technologies; a well rounded technical person who can work in an ever changing environment.
Ability to understand complex integration needs and work with multiple teams to drive alignment, integrate, and certify the integration of Front End and Back End systems - Ability to work in a fast paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment

- Experience with mobile and digital technologies and eco systems.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Programming experience in frameworks/languages such as Java, JavaScript etc.
- Experience with service/API consumption in eComm
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Experience with cloud application architecture and deployment best practices
- Experience with REST and JSON, HTML5, JQuery, Node.JS, NGINX, NoSQL databases
- Experience in Amazon Web Services cloud environments
- Previous Mulesoft or Layer 7 experience would be helpful
- Experience in integrating with CRM applications
- Experience with requirements, task, and change management systems
- Knowledge of deployment and testing automation used for continuous delivery
