Description
Frontend Javascript Developer needed to join well estd. company in Dublin 4 on a 6 month contract. 3-8 years experience developing professional web applications with Javascript, and experience of Angular JS required.
Responsibilities of the role: -
- Develops the Front End user interface code
- Follows engineering best practices; writes automated unit tests for code
- Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
- Liaise between UI/UX and development team to help align on technical issues, needs, expectations and dependencies
- 2.1 or higher in a related discipline from an academic institution; Masters a plus.
- 3-8 years of experience developing professional web applications with Javascript
- Advocate of Front End development standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with client side MVC Frameworks specifically AngularJS
- Experience with developing Hybrid Mobile Applications (HTML5, CSS3s,PhoneGap)
- Experience with local development tools (node.js, NPM, Grunt, Bower)
- Interactive Front End Engineering experience with Bootstrap
- Experience with Agile and test-driven development
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
The following is a strong plus:
- Background in retail financial services and CRM
- Experience with continuous integration (Jenkins) and version control ( Git)
- Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development and Jasmine testing framework
