For our client we are looking for an Application security Architect with sound and proven technical knowledge and at least several years of practical experience in Application Security. Besides application skills, proven technical content and programming skills, you should also be able to communicate well with our software developers to support them with secure code writing. You will be part of the small group of Security specialists that should be able to advise developers inside and outside the Internet domain with regards to security vulnerabilities and solutions
Work details:
Our client and its customers must be sure that the applications are protected against external attacks. The security team in collaboration with our developers make sure that this is the case, using specialized tooling and tests. With the use of security tooling and penetration testing you ensure that all Dutch applications accessible by the general public are secure for attackers. Knowing what threats exist in the market today is essential. You support the developers in secure design and required adjustments resulting from test findings, to guarantee a secure application to our customers.
General knowledge/experience:
Minimum a HBO degree;
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a complex applicative IT environment
Technical skills:
Cybercrime and DDOS
Java
Programming and scripting skills, to develop automated cybercrime defense tools, and advise developers in code improvements
Security tooling like Web application firewalls, Fortify and Acuntix
Penetration tests and source code scans and explain conclusions to developers
Work with large volumes of data and analyze for cybercrime incidents and patterns
Knowledge of F5 ASM is a pre.
Excellent communicative skills (Dutch and English), verbal and in writing;
Environment:
As a security specialist you work in a small team of security experts.
You work closely together with our DevOps colleagues of different departments to make the best possible secured applications.
