Number of People Supervised: 33 remote and in-house staff
Job Description:
- Works on issues of broad scope
- Develops and directs work schedules and monitors work flow to achieve established goals and objectives
- Responsible for recommending changes in guidelines, procedures, and policies
- Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors
- Requires considerable amount of analysis to consider all alternatives for identified, yet complex problems
- Follows operational policies in selecting methods and techniques to determine the best solutions
- Information to solve the problem comes from a variety of sources which may not be readily available
- Involves interpreting and analysing established administrative or technical concepts
- Judgment is required to make decisions for less defined issues
- Requires moderately complex decision-making
- Recognizes linkages and understands impact of individual actions on other parts of the organization and member/customer
- Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information
- Responsible for directly providing guidance to staff
- Requires knowledge of claims processing and working knowledge of another functional area

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration or equivalent experience
- Experience in claims intake/mailroom
- Management of staff/supervisory position
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently without direction
