Demand Architect/+4 months/Amsterdam
We are looking for a Demand Architect to join a client in Amsterdam for an initial period of +4 months.
The demand Architect has the mission to act as a true business partner, being a facilitator for efficient and reliable business operations and an enabler for business innovation.
The department is managing the IT demand and sees to a matching IT supply.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering on the IT project portfolio
- Driving continuous simplification of the BU's business and IT landscape according to target architecture
- Matching the service levels from IT supply with business needs
- Develop and maintain Business Region/BU architecture vision, architecture strategy and business driven target architectures to steer projects accordingly.
- Application Asset Management: Maintenance of up-to-date application inventory relevant for the Business Region/BU/CRU/Functional area in the EAM tool.
- Drive standardization, consolidation and simplification of IT Architecture relevant for respective Business Region/BU/CRU/Functional areas.
- Implement Architecture Governance decisions and follow-up architecture compliance in the Business Region/BU.
- Perform IT Architecture reviews of IT related projects in close cooperation with Solution IT Architects and Enterprise Architects.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Enterprise Automation, or related field.
- In depth IT knowledge/experience that covers a broad range of the typical Sales & Customer Service IT landscape, at least covering in depth Online and Integration knowledge, and preferable also BI, CRM, and Billing.
- Minimum of 5-10 year experience as an Demand or Enterprise Architect
- Strong communication and consulting skills on different (management) levels with the ability to explain complex matters in a simple way
- Strong soft skills to engage and convince people without hierarchical power.
- Excellent English communication skills
