Video Architect - DTV,IPTV
Our client a Global World Leader is actively seeking a video systems Architect to join their company on a 6 month contract basis.
Ideally you will be Configuring, testing, architecture/design of systems regarding video encoding, mixing, service and event metadata, DVB SI/MPEG PSI etc
More than 5 years of experience as an architect role in IT or DTV/IPTV environment.
- Service Oriented Architecture and ESB
- Web 2.0 and Web Services Technologies
- IP Networking
- Unix/Linux
Requirement
- MSc degree in IT or Telecommunications (Relevant equivalent experience also considered).
- More than 5 years of experience as an architect role in IT or DTV/IPTV environment.
Theoretical and working knowledge of:
- Service Oriented Architecture and ESB
- Web 2.0 and Web Services Technologies
- IP Networking
- Unix/Linux
- Proven track record of active technical participation in engineering projects.
- Good interpersonal skills are essential
- Must be willing and able to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and technologies
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, to maintain and develop effective working relationships with other peers
- Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention for detail
- Must be proactive, with a desire to continuously improve system solutions, documentation and process & procedures
- Must be able to work under pressure and be prepared to work outside normal working hours when necessary
- English skills must be excellent.
- Willingness to travel
