Security Solution Architect: Security Solution Architect is urgently required for a long term contract for a large BlueChip company paying great rates in an amazing location.
If you are not the Security Solution Architect that my client is looking for but you know just the person please let me know and if I place them my company will pay you up to 1k.
Background/Purpose
Require an experienced Solution Design-Security Architect who can support client's Cyber Threat Management program across a number of strategic projects.
Requirements of the Security Solution Architect
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics or a technical field.
- Over eight years' experience designing and architecting security solutions, preferably within the financial services.
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge and utilization of security tools (ie SIEM tools, Firewalls, Network monitoring and protection, Anti-Malware technologies).
- Preferable knowledge and experience of FireEye, Mandiant, Network Scanning, Hardoop or Splunk.
- Team player with excellent coordination and communication skills, and experience working within complex international organisations.
- Pro-active and self-driven to overcome challenges, achieve results and deliver to deadlines.
- Certified in TOGAF or equivalent.
Responsibilities of the Security Solution Architect
- Design large or complex projects, including system and application designs, software and technical architecture, in accordance with strategies and objectives.
- Discusses feasibility of different design proposals and trade-offs made, their relative strengths, weaknesses, risks, implied costs, 'fitness for purpose', re-use, etc. with ADAs, peers, PMs, and designers.
- Communicates with stakeholders and analyses business requirements and processes; make recommendations, and leads in shaping future plans.
- Defines the structure of an application system within the constraints of the requirements, BU CTO architecture, SDLC and deployment context. The resulting set of hierarchically decomposed Front End and Back End components along with their interactions forms the basis for further elaboration by designers.
- Defines layering of business logic ("Business Services" and "Business Entities/Objects") and how the layers will be distributed over logical deployment nodes while applying sound software engineering principles and considering non-functional aspects.
- Defines the service model and interface to UBS environment, including the operating model and high level process landscape.
- Coach colleagues in more junior roles.
- Ensures documentation of process, solution and service design on a project level.
- Interface to CTO architects.
