Description
The candidate will work with software configuration management tools group to support daily operations of engineers to plan, scope, test and support ClearCase, ClearQuest, Unix administration, Perl Scripting
Candidate must have ClearCase and Unix administration experience
Candidate should be familiar with:
- Software configuration management tools and concepts
- Perl, Unix Shell Procedural languages.
- Java, REST, Web services. WebSphere knowledge a plus
Candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Good written communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
Candidate will work with multi-discipline IT engineers to support our ClearCase/ClearQuest environment:
- Automation projects to mature and support environment.
- Installation and configuration of ClearCase and ClearQuest Servers
- Software upgrade and validation
- Implementation of ClearCase and Clearquest triggers and scripts to improve usage and performance
Preferred: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience
