Experienced IT System Engineer - 6 months - DutchAssist the realization of several 2015 key roadmap projects for the Hosting & Cloud Division
Task description:
Project intake and feasibility checks prior to project boarding
Planning and delivery with respect to the established governance processes
Handover to the operational departments in the final project phase
Reoccurring 3rd line support activities upon delivery
Technical skills:
You have a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent through experience
You have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft and VMware infrastructure products and their components (you can submit certificates and/or a solid track record)
You are very strong in scripting (VBScript and PowerShell) and have understanding and SQL
You have a knowledge of Active Directory and a thorough knowledge of Group Policies
You have a good overall knowledge in server based computing and system application virtualization
You have knowledge of end point security (antivirus, data encryption, certificates)
Previous knowledge of experience with Hosting & Cloud is a plus (hosted application / infrastructure: Hosted Exchange, IIS, SQL, SharePoint ...)
You have minimum8 years of experience with large enterprise networks (500+ users, multiple sites, 50+ servers…)

You have strong technical writing skills
ITIL knowledge and vendor certification is definitely a plus
Familiar with the following terms PAAS / DAAS / SaaS / IaaS, Frame Working, Security, manageability, etc ...
Killing selection criteria to be considered during the preselection done by the Suppliers:
Proven track record in IT System Engineering(design and implementation of predefined requirements & 3rd level support): not just support desk experience or back ground as administrator
Proven knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft and VMware infrastructure products (Windows Server, VMware ESX and vSphere)
