Real Staffing are resourcing for an NHS Acute Trust in London which requires the immediate support of a Senior Finance Manager to one of its specialist divisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 8a Finance Manager who is looking to develop their skills in a demanding NHS environment.
Candidates should have a strong background within Management Accounts and recent experience of dealing with clinical budgets.
Please note that candidates will not be considered without all of the essential criteria listed above. Candidates must be a qualified accountant (QBE not considered).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- For the respective division, take responsibility of planning and delivering month-end reporting up to draft position to review with Business Analyst of the division.
- Strong experience in dealing with budgets and staff management
- Strong analytical skills to draft variance analysis (and ad-hoc reports) of the division/services
- Preparing budget holders and attending internal PR meetings
- Support the Business Analyst in costings ( i.e. CIPs, Business cases ad-hoc etc.)
Essential Criteria:
- Large Acute Trust back ground
- Financial management skills
- CCAB part-qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA)
- Operate at Band 8b level
- Recent assignments within an NHS Acute or Foundation Trust
- Responsible for clinical budgets
- Strong background in Management Accounts

Rate is negotiable and will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
