SQL BI Developer
Unique contract opportunity for a highly skilled BI Developer to join an expert multinational development team, for one of Ireland's leading financial service organisations, developing their Microsoft systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build supporting framework for reporting using SQL Server, SSIS, PowerPivot
- Build and maintain reporting SQL Server data marts/data warehouses
- Perform analysis and design of functional and technical requirements
- Production of technical design documentation from functional specifications/business requirements
- Complete application design, code, unit test and integration test tasks adhering to design/development standards within agreed time frames
Essential Skills:
- 5 years' experience in design and development of SQL Server
- Stong experience SSIS and SSRS
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Full experience in the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid exposure to T-SQL
- Experience using PowerPivot and Powerview
Desired Skills
- Microsoft Certified qualifications
- Previous experience in DWH/BI in the financial sector
- Experience in Sharepoint desirable
- Understanding of Web technologies
- Experience in designing and building of OLAP cubes
