We are hiring for a large international energy specialist, based in The Netherlands who is looking for a Java Engineer to join their multi-skilled team in developing and delivering market leading management solutions. You must have a background in software design, implementation and delivery as you will be required to build and evolve software components. They are also looking for an individual with good documentation skills and a preference for "real world" environments.
The team is rapidly expanding! At the moment we are recruiting Java developers, although more languages even better. Both junior, medior and senior lead developers, although we don't capture this in specific function profiles, this will be reflected in the offer we make.
Development skills:
* At least 3 years work experience as a Java developer, J2EE.
* Experienced in: Rest, JSON, XML, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, XSLT, JAXB, SOA, SpringMVC, JSF 1.2, Agular JS, JavaScript, JDBC, (PL) SQL, Oracle.
Techniques & team skills:
* Hands-on experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
* Business sense: you balance technical perfection with business needs and priority. Preferably you have experience in an Energy or Utility environment or in one of the business domains we mentioned earlier.
* Good communication and team skills - please elaborate in your application on the role you played in your previous teams and how you worked with both technical as well as business colleagues.
