Magento Back End Developer
Our client, a large government organisation, are looking for a PHP Developer to help create compelling B2B web applications.
This particular project is delivering an API Management and Monitisation platform to make data available to developers and organisation in the UK and beyond.
Description of Requirements:
*Expert at building PHP Magento Modules to support high traffic web applications
*Experience of developing at least one Magento Back End E-commerce platform (community or enterprise)
*Confident managing and developing against MySQL databases using SQL.
*Used to integrating data in XML and other formats through SOAP/REST APIs
*An in-depth understanding of object-oriented web development approaches
*Experience developing against Internet and Infrastructure Security principles
*Skilled user of PHP unit testing frameworks (such as PHPUnit) and work using TDD/BDD
*Used to Agile delivery practises and working as part of a Scrum development team
Description of Required Skillsets:
*OOP PHP5 - extensive experience developing Magento Modules in PHP using object-oriented methodologies
*HTML5
*Javascript
*LAMP - expert level on Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP platform
*SQL - complete confidence developing against relational databases
*MySQL database replication and clustering
*RESTful web services
*SOAP/WSDL
*XML - data interchange using XML content
*TDD/BDD - test- or behaviour-driven development approaches
*Subversion/Git version control systems
*Jenkins continuous integration and delivery approaches
