Description
Summary- The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the daily management of financial activity of the Revenue received
- These duties includes revenue reconciliation, premium billing, monitoring the enrollment/dis-enrollment policies and procedures, journal entry preparation, heavy account analysis, month-end reconciliations and preparation of financial reporting tools and audit schedules.
- This position interfaces and serves as a liaison with multiple internal departments and external contacts.
Qualifications
- Must have BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- The position requires excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Excellent advanced PC Skills (Excel, Word, Access)
- 3-5 years experience in a managed healthcare setting (HMO and IPA)
- The ability to work with complex databases
- Experience with Medicare and Medi-Cal preferred
