Next Ventures is urgently looking for an English speaking SAP Enterprise solution Architect for a role based in Qatar. All Nationalities welcome
Scope:
The SAP Solution Architect will be responsible for developing solutions for a wide range of system and process improvement for entire organization. The Architect will be responsible to meet with stakeholders for understanding new strategic goals and current operational challenges and help translate these opportunities into executable system/technical solution.
He will develop solution alternatives for business requirements that spans across various enterprise applications and components (SAP ECC, & Net weaver stacks.) manage implementation of approved solutions.
He will also be responsible for providing thought leadership, direction and management of the SAP cross-functional team and collaborating with business owners.
The Solution Architect is the single point of responsibility to deliver the end-to-end SAP Work Stream solution from functional, technical, application, project, user, and systems perspective.
We are looking for a broad experience across;
HCM (LSO, E-REC, ESS/MSS, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT/TALENT MANAGEMENT, COMPENSATION MANAGEMENT, EMPLOYEE INTERACTION CENTER, HCM PROCESSES AND FORMS, SRM, IS-OIL BI/BO, FICO, BP, MAM/PCR AND GRC.

The key requirement for us is the breadth of knowledge and understanding of the components and their integration and not necessarily the depth.
His role is not to quality assure (QA) what the functional processes identified but to ensure there are no gaps in the inter-connections between the different work streams.
Should have a fully integrated solution that will address the customer's needs and satisfy the end user community.
Responsible for developing solution alternatives to translate business goals and operational challenges into executable IT solution.
Defining a clear portal strategy, user interfaces and overall end user interaction, are also prime components to be incorporated into the solution architecture.
Single point of contact/escalation for all solution architecture matters.
Provide direction to work stream leads and consultants.
He should be able to define an overview and approach to the solution such that the customer can visualize the end goal.
Provide thought leadership, direction and management of the SAP cross-functional team and collaborating with business owners.
Project management of small to mid-sized projects (Deliver reliable and stable solutions on time, within budget which meet customer expectations).
Ensure adherence to Enterprise Architecture and alignment.
Coordinate with the PMO to ensure that optimal software development methodologies are consistently applied and followed and that key components such as design specifications; code reviews; unit, system, and integration testing; and all required technical documentation are completed for each project.
Plan, lead, prioritize and delegate work relating to software design and development for new initiatives.
Respond to critical production issues and provide immediate workarounds to maintain business continuity.
Drive problem investigation and resolution as required.
Maintains and enforces service level agreements.
Provides internal customers with a professional experience when requesting SAP support.
Establish and maintain all SAP system controls, policies and procedures.
Foster a strong and positive work environment that rewards individual and team efforts and encourages creativity, while maintaining high calibre productivity.
Function as a key stakeholder of the project, participating in management decisions and issue resolution
The following proven skills are required for this position:
Five (5) years of management/solution architecture experience in a medium to large corporate environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity of projects and applications and has developed a minimum of 3 end to end Solutions.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members.
A BA/BS in Computer Science or other technical discipline. MA/MS or MBA a plus.
Twelve (12) or more years of experience in functional experience of SAP in the aforementioned modules
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a politically charged environment
Self-starter attitude with the ability to develop an understanding of a fresh Implementation along with proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Provides solutions to complex business challenges for area of responsibility where analysis of situation requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to make decisions that has a lasting impact on area of responsibility
Experience of working in a complex landscape with multiple systems.
Working knowledge of structured software development methodology.
Experience in defining a corporate portal strategy for customer that includes external and internal portals.
Experience in designing and deploying SAP Mobility Platform across an enterprise
Experience in Business Planning and Budgeting Solutions from SAP
Experience with the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
Ability to understand business requirements and provide creative technical solutions that work within the technical boundaries.
Respects local traditions and culture with a preference of having Middle East work experience.
Punctual with the ability to work under pressure and achieve tight projects tasks and deliverables.
Strong Team player with the ability to put team goals ahead of individual preferences.
Takes full responsibility for ensuring high quality work.
Ability to comprehend detailed MS-Project plans and understands how individual tasks fit into the overall program.
Ability to report accurate project progress in a timely fashion and respects reporting line.
