Objectives

The Senior Product Development Manager will be responsible for Product Development of a range of products across the fixed and bundle portfolio. The role includes ensuring that the products support the company's overall strategy and goals and deliver competitive advantage.

Key Tasks

  • With strong industry knowledge the Senior Product Development Manager for Consumer Fixed and Bundle Products is the product champion in developing Consumer products - consistent with the agreed product strategy - within budget, on time, and in line with internal parameters and regulatory requirements

  • Develop and implement end-to-end product propositions involving the technical, operational, systems and commercial elements of the proposition to meet customer and business requirements

  • Pro-actively build and manage relationships and understand the delivery frameworks of relevant supply areas within group including Wholesale, Pricing, Regulatory, Technology and Marketing

  • Working with Product propositions to develop product specifications and project plans and co-ordinate with Technology for the delivery of new or enhanced products and product functionality

  • Support, consult and drive product propositions and operations in their development of the go-to-market strategy
  • Management of a cost effective, competitive and efficient set of products to meet agreed targets

  • Apply end to end Product Lifecycle Management and rationalisation of the Consumer product set to ensure optimal revenue generation combined with cost minimisation

  • Proactively support and engage with other fixed and mobile product managers in the development of bundled services
  • Lead key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to drive penetration and retention through new product introduction, product enhancements and promotions. Work with the key stakeholders to ensure developments are delivered on time and to specification
  • Manage any product-related process issues and ensure that products meet the guidelines for compliance and revenue assurance, including designing process controls, investigation of process and billing issues and implementing remediation activities

  • Coordinate and drive supporting areas in the develop of new products including Customer Operations, Finance, Business Planning, Management Reporting, Regulatory Ops, Revenue Assurance, Risk Management and Credit Management
