For one of our clients we are searching for a Settop box devices tester.
Contractor will have knowledge of Digital TV environments and has a testing background of settop box devices.
- Understanding of DVB and DVB PSI/SI
- Understanding of TCP/IP
- Understanding of Docsis 3.0
- Understanding digital TV headend
- Able to create and execute test plans related to acceptance of settop boxes (SW and HW)
1. Description of the Services SUPPLIER will perform the following Services for Dawn:
Create test cases for set-top boxes, Embedded software testing
Perform sanity test cycles for set-top boxes, consisting of hardware and Embedded software
Perform acceptance test cycles for set-top boxes, consisting of hardware and Embedded software
Report test progress, defect reports and test results towards Liberty Global See Exhibit A.
2. Description of the Deliverables SUPPLIER will deliver the following Deliverables:
Test Plan and Test Cases
Test Results (test case results and defect reports) for Embedded software releases
ISTQB foundation is a must
