Description
Good day, ladies and gents! Here is what we we're looking for:
An experienced Rails developer who gets good work done quickly.
I hate cookbook style job posts, but in general, if you:
...then you probably have the minimum skills to be considered.
Having said that, open source work, any leanings toward functional programming, wicked Vim or Emacs skillz, strace and/or dtrace chops, Docker experience, and any R programming experience will be looked on favorably.
Regardless, you'll need to be able to hit the ground running.
We're a stealth-mode startup on the central coast of California and we've got funding to bring on 3 more solid developers for 12 months. Obviously, we're banking on going much further than that, but that's our starting point.
No equity, no catered lunches, no free MacBooks. But we'll pay you well and you can work from wherever you like, whenever you like as long as you produce.
We're a team of 5 (soon to be 8), working out of our garages and homes, scattered across central California, Wyoming, and Colombia.
Those self identifying as Ruby rockstars or ninjas will probably not fit in terribly well; however, Ruby folkstars, Ruby carpenters and Ruby chiropractors may thrive.
