I am looking to hire a In Service Engineer for one of my public sector client.

Essential Experience:

Management of Aircraft document set feature reporting
Technical query Management
Engineering authority/desk officer experience

Key skills:

  • Glider (Vigilant and Viking) aircraft technical experience and knowledge.
  • Engineering Authority experience and knowledge.
  • Proven engineering experience across platforms.
  • In-service support experience.

Desirable:
Glider technical experience

The post holder supports the type airworthiness of the Viking TMk1 & Vigilant TMk1 by investigating and reporting the technical aspects of DASORs, maintenance fault arisings including Technical Queries (TQs), SI(T)s, Unsatisfactory Feature Reports (FX), Fault Reports (F760) and modifications on behalf of the Glider EA and Tech Support Manager.

Assist with the delivery of the agreed glider logistic support outputs to customers, as detailed in the Soft Contract with HQ 22(Trg) Gp.

Work with the Maintenance Organisation and Design Organisations to investigate technical causes of DASORs.

Work with the Maintenance Organisation to investigate the causes of technical faults identified during maintenance activities including the resolution and management of Technical Queries (TQs).

Work with the Maintenance Organisation and client CAM to provide the technical information needed to draft and issue SI(T)s.

Support the application of DE&S Safety, Environmental and Quality Management policy to Viking TMk1 & Vigilant TMk1.

Work with the Maintenance Organisation, client Cam and Design Organisations to assess the suggested resolution of UFRs (FX) and advise the Glider ISM and Glider EA.

Work with the Maintenance Organisation, client CAM, Design Organisations and component suppliers to investigate the causes and possible resolution of component and material faults reported through the F760, and advise the Glider ISM and Glider EA.

Work with the Maintenance Organisation, client CAM and Design Organisations to investigate the technical requirements, feasibility and practicality of proposed modification.
