IT Project Management Assistant - Luxembourg
As IT Project Management Assistant (PMA) you will work alongside the IT Project Manager. You will assist in the application and maintenance of the standards of project management to achieve economies of repetition in the execution of projects.
The PMA acts as the source of documentation and metrics on the practice of project management and execution and supports the successful delivery of projects undertaken by the Systems Infrastructure Department through effective tracking and documenting.
The IT Project Management Assistant (PMA) is responsible for:
Tasks
- Assist in producing the standard deliverables, design documentation, and project specifications that include, but not limited to: Project Initiation Document, Project Plan, Risk & Issue Logs, Operations Transition Document, Project Implementation Review
- Assemble/package release of construction documents incl. drawings & specifications (eg Deployment Diagrams, Assets/CI list, Communication flows )
- Act as a reference point for queries and information for best practices in project management
- Ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete. Proactive communication with members of design team to follow up on missing documentation
- Archive all documents in a central repository so it is accessible to the appropriate team members
- At product closure ensure all information, documentation and pre-requisites for a transition into production is delivered and assist in hand-over to production teams
- Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a Real Time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of projects
- Share lessons learned and best practices, building relationships with stakeholders
- Understand the project deliverables intended for both internal and external audience (eg client, partners ) and contribute to success through cooperative and collegial processes
Profile:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Service-oriented attitude
- Diligent with attention to detail
- Team player, and able to work on own initiative
- CAPM/PMP/Prince2 certification would be considered an asset
- Good understanding of the IT landscape
- Knowledge of MS Project, Visio and Office suite
Languages: English and French. German would be considered an asset
