SQL BI Developer - SSRS - SSAS - SSIS - Investment Banking
A global Banking Group are looking to hire a SQL BI Developer to work on a multi million dollar programme to implement a new platform
The successful candidate's primary role as part of the BI technology team will be to support the rollout of the new multi-million dollar infrastructure across multiple regions. The infrastructure uses a combination of technologies including MS SQL Server, SSIS/SSAS & SSRS, Business Objects, .NET, Grid and Cloud Computing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the reporting repository in SQL Server 2012
- Load and validate dimensions and measures via SSIS
- Comply with the standard release cycle and deployment controls
- Perform all application unit and system testing
- Configure Microsoft Analysis Services on top of the reporting database.
- Design and develop the Analysis Services Models.
Required Skills:
- Solid SQL Server Development skills with version 2008 R2 or later
- Writing ETL Packages using SSIS
- Data Warehousing Design Experience and Kimball Methodologies
- Solid experience of Analysis Services and MDX
- The ability to understand financial products and how they are reported on by Risk, Product Control and Finance
- Recent Investment banking background
- Experience working on scheduling software such as Control-M
